El-Masri Sadeek SOLD

Grey (white) Straight Egyptian Gelding (16.11.2011)

El-Masri Sadeek is the first straight Egyptian gelding by our classic foundation sire Halimas El Nizr (Anaza El Nizr x Halimas Tiara (imp USA)) and is everything we had hoped for; structurally correct with loads of Arabian type.

El-Masri Nadeem Sold

We are pleased to announce the sale of the very athletic El-Masri Nadeem to Toft Endurance.  Having just completed his first 20 km ride Nadeem impressed with his smooth, long action.  Nadeem is out of the very beautiful Halimas Haleekha who is also the dam of El-Masri Sadeek who is successfully competing in endurance having recently completed his third 80km ride.

Jadeed Sold to Shadwell

We are both pleased and a little disappointed to announce the sale of El-Masri Jadeed to HH Sheik Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

Jadeed returns to the race track

Having successfully completed two 80km endurance rides El-Masri Jadeed returns to the race track for the running of the Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Cup at Sandown Park on 26 January 2015.  Under the watchful eye of Kim Noble (Springridge Racing Stables) Jadeed has been going through his paces in preparation for the big day.  Win, lose or draw Arabian racing is loads of fun and just another way of showcasing the breed that we all love to the world at large.  I would encourage any Arabian horse enthusiast to attend to support the event.  I would also like to thank the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage as the organising body of the HH Sheikh Mansoor bin Zayad Al Nahyan’s Global Arabian Flat Racing Festival for its continued support of Arabian racing in Australia.

Endurance

On 1 November 2014 El-Masri Jadeed competed in his first endurance ride over 80km at Eldorado in Victoria. He then went on to compete over 80km in the Canberra Endurance ride in Canberra on 22 November in very tough conditions with temperatures getting close to 40 degrees.

JADEED RACES AT CAUFIELD

On 1 February 2014 El Masri Jadeed lined up for the HH Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies World Championship over 1400 metres at Caulfield. Ridden by international jockey Hana Jurankova and in just his second race Jadeed ran a creditable 6th.

Update on Rafeeq

Update on Rafeeq (Sanadik Ibn Estopa x Halimas Danielle) Amanda reports:

Just letting you know, Raf and I are going to attempt his very first 40ker in Moyston next weekend.
I have been really impressed with him in the 20k rides I have put him through this year, so I think it’s time to step up.
We went to Ararat last weekend for a 20k ride, his heart rate was 34 pre ride 36 afterwards…. I think he might be made for this Steve!!!”
