On 7 July 2018 at Moyston, Victoria, Halimas Danielle successfully completed her third 80 km ride. This amazing little mare is now beginning preparations for her first tilt at the Tom Quilty to be held in Scottsdale, Tasmania, in October.

El-Masri Gamilah is in foal to GR Amarillo

The beautiful El-Masri Gamilah (Laheeb Al Rayyan x Halimas Fayshana (x Fayrid imp USA) is in foal to GR Amarillo (imp Germany) (Classic Shadwan x Halim’s Asmara (x Ansata Halim Shah)) with the foal due in October 2018. Amarillo stands at Seven Oaks Arabians and we would like to thank Leigh Jamieson of Seven Oaks for the opportunity to use this wonderful stallion. Amarillo is a maternal grandson of the legendary Ansata Halim Shah and a paternal grandson of Alidaar. He is also a full brother to the outstanding German stallion G R Amaretto and the German champion mare G R Amaretta. This will be Gamilah’s first foal and we look forward to its arrival with great anticipation.

El-Masri Sadeek has been sold to ABH Endurance

Sadeek successfully completed a number of 80km rides and had recently completed his first 100km ride, finishing 3rd , with Daniel Noble aboard. We wish him and his new owners every success in the future.

We are pleased to announce the sale of the very athletic El-Masri Nadeem to Toft Endurance. Having just completed his first 20 km ride Nadeem impressed with his smooth, long action. Nadeem is out of the very beautiful Halimas Haleekha who is also the dam of El-Masri Sadeek who is successfully competing in endurance having recently completed his third 80km ride.

Jadeed Sold to Shadwell

We are both pleased and a little disappointed to announce the sale of El-Masri Jadeed to HH Sheik Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Jadeed will be sorely missed. He has been a favourite at the stud for many years, being the first son of our senior sire, Halimas El Nizr. Jadeed has provided us with some great and memorable moments both on the race tracks of Caulfield and Moonee Valley and in endurance, having successfully completed three 80 Km rides with the expert assistance of Kim Noble of Springridge Racing and Endurance. Jadeed inherited his sire’s great balance, athleticism and temperament and we are sure he will continue to develop into an exceptional endurance performer.

New Colt

We are pleased to announce the safe arrival of a beautiful new grey (born chestnut) colt foal by Arinya Park Al Amar out of our wonderful mare, Halimas Fayshana. This is Fayshana’s second foal and is proof positive of her exceptional qualities as a broodmare. As yet unnamed, this extremely typey little fellow has a beautiful head and a long fine neck set on a well laid back shoulder. Fayshana will now be bred to Halimas El Nizr for a 2015 foal. AMIRAH SOLD

We are pleased to announce the sale of the beautiful mare Amirah to Donna Hoskinson of Victoria. Amirah (Arinya Park Klass x Hazeldean Esperanza) was sold in foal to our wonderful stallion Halimas El Nizr. Blackwood Farm has leased the very beautiful straight Egyptian mare Lady Rosemary of Seven Oaks. “Rosie” (Asfour x Simeon Sagee (x Imperial Madaar)) brings with her the very best of the famous Simeon Stud’s breeding program. Rosie has been joined to Jadaan Al Shaqab (Ashhhal Al Rayyan x Torfa Al Shaqab (x Al Adeed Al Shaqab)) currently on lease to Forest Hill stud in NSW. We would like to thank Leigh Jamieson of Seven Oaks for the opportunity to lease this lovely mare and look forward to Rosie ‘s 2014 foal with great anticipation.”

New Filly

On 28th December 2012 Halimas Bint Nizr foaled a beautiful bay filly by Halimas El Nizr. Both Bint and Nizr were sired by the Australian Champion stallion Anaza El Nizr. This little filly is everything one would expect from such a mating. She exudes type with a lovely head and eye, great length of neck on a well laid back shoulder, great legs and feet and a great topline. Photos: Laureen Schmidt.
